Rotaractors help, learn and enjoy.
Rotaract is a service club program sponsored by Rotary International, aimed at young people ages 18 and older. It encourages leadership development, professional skill building, and community service through clubs where members work together to make a positive impact in their communities. Rotaract Members share a unique passion for taking action through not only ideas but planning and execution of projects and events. Where others see problems, we see solutions. History - How Rotaract Began Rotaract originally began as a Rotary International youth program in 1968 at Charlotte North Rotary Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, and has grown into a major organization of ~9,000 clubs and nearly 120,000 members in 189 countries and geographic areas. Leadership Development: Rotaract provides opportunities for members to develop their leadership skills through club governance, project planning, and event organization. Professional Skills: Rotaract can help members enhance their professional skills through networking, project management, and public speaking. We help those in need, learn through professional development opportunities, and enjoy social activities. Global Movement: Rotaract is a global organization with clubs in numerous countries, fostering international collaboration and understanding. Partnership with Rotary: Rotary clubs serve as sponsors for Rotaract clubs, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for joint service projects.
